THE FIRST Pf-HRP2 STANDARD

Our malaria research is an important activity at Cellabs. We continue to develop new innovative methods to support the global malaria research community.

Cellabs has developed the first standard for Pf-HRP2 for quantitative assays. This standard is now available as a positive control for use with the Malaria Ag CELISA (KM2) and Quantimal™ Ultra-sensitive PfHRP2 Malaria CELISA (Product Code KM8). This standard uses purified culture supernatant  containing Pf-HRP2, calibarated against a Pf recombinant antigen (PfrAg) of known concentration. A standard curve is constructed and used to quantify the concentration of Pf HRP2 in a sample.

MALARIA RAPID TEST KIT

Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) has become a popular choice for a range of applications due to the convenient format. There is a vast number of RDTs for malaria available globally but only a small list makes it to the WHO quality controlled list of malaria RDTs. 

We are developing a malaria rapid test with a state-of-the-art reader. This project is in its development stages. More information to follow.
